The bridge is really wonderful and fantastic (you can click that picture to see large size). This bridge located in Southern France and the highest bridge in the world. For the detail of location and project you can click here.
You can see how the engineering design and calculate the method used to span the distance between the piers.

When I saw this picture I said to my self that we are human are clever and try to find something for solve the problems and get breakthrough.
We always find the problems but I think the problem should solved by us. Don't give up, because in my opinion the problems make us growth, clever and wise when we can solve them.
Don't deny the problems, but the important things is how we handle and solve the problems.

You know.. I noticed the other day how imperfect everything that humans today make. This bridge is not one of those examples of course.

The Egyptians, Mayas, and other great tribes of people made many many things that had very little tolerance for error. They didn't even have the tools that we have to day, lasers and such. Yet they were able to build things that have stood the test of time.

I personally do not think that this bridge will be there 1000 years from now, like the pyramids are. Just something to think about modern day wonders.

You are right mouseclone. This bridge might be can't hold for 1000 years. Different with Pyramid, because Pyramid is One of Fantastic Bulding int the world :)

i like the thought that problems can make us grow, it's what we do with them. we can see them as inhibiting, or as tools to learn by. thanks..
